#8 | Visiting Radha Kund
Following the Master | Holi Vrindavan India 2020
14 March 2020
The day started with 45 people being initiated as new devotees of Paramahamsa Vishwananda, with Guruji initiating some of them personally. Before the initiation, Swami Revatikaanta reminded everyone about the responsibility that comes with becoming a devotee of Guruji, and after the initiation explained the deeper meaning of the mantras they had just received.
After lunch, the entire group went with Guruji to Govardhana: the sacred hill of Lord Krishna. There, Guruji performed abishekam on the Govardhana Shila, after a brief visit to Chandra Sarovar and the samadhi of saint Surdas. Then, after sunset, when it was already dark, Guruji performed an evening arati to Srimati Radharani at Radha Kund, her sacred lake near Govardhana. After the arati, Guruji sprinkled the water from Radha Kund on all the participants.
The day was completed with abishekam on Giridhariji at Giridhari Dham, accompanied by joyful kirtan and a satsang from Swami Revatikaanta about becoming more serious and attentive on our spiritual path - a thought-provoking ending to a very intense day.
