#2 | Satsang & Darshan in Pune
Following the Master | Maharashtra Adventure 2020
12 January 2020
On the second day of the journey in Maharashtra, Guruji gave a Satsang and Darshan in Pune. In between the two events, Gurudev had lunch with everybody, and gave the opportunity for many local people who were meeting Him for the first time to speak with Him.
During the satsang, Guruji shared some of His childhood stories about His encounters with Mahavatar Babaji, described how to recognise our Satguru and explained what makes a saint different from an ordinary person. He said that whenever a saint leaves the body, we always say that the saint takes samadhi, not that he or she passed away. The reason for that is because they are detached from their material body and outer desires. Their souls are forever eternal, and their thoughts and devotion last eternally, too. (We could actually experience this as we visited some of the temples on the previous day.)
Guruji also explained how beautiful the life of a devotee is, since whatever a true devotee does is always in connection with the Divine.
The Darshan evening featured the beautiful singing of the local devotees with approximately 400 people present to receive Darshan.
Stay tuned for more posts as we ‘Follow the Master’ on an adventure to the Divine!
